“Autism & Me” is a compassionate community dedicated to sharing the journeys of parents and caregivers, offering a platform for support, understanding, and valuable resources in navigating the world of autism.

Together, we celebrate the unique stories and achievements of those touched by autism, fostering a space of inclusivity and empowerment for individuals and their families.

Join us in our mission to enlighten, inspire, and unite, as we provide essential information, resources, and a network of support to enrich the lives of those on the autism spectrum and their loved ones.

Our Goals

Education and Training: Equip caregivers with the knowledge and skills necessary to support their loved ones effectively. This includes understanding autism spectrum disorders, learning about behavior management techniques, and being informed about the latest research and therapies.

Emotional Support and Self-Care: Create a supportive community for caregivers to share experiences and challenges, offering emotional support through group meetings, online forums, or one-on-one counseling. Encourage caregivers to prioritize their own well-being and self-care to prevent burnout

Advocacy and Awareness: Empower caregivers to become advocates for their loved ones by providing them with the tools and information needed to navigate educational, healthcare, and social systems. This includes raising awareness about the rights and needs of individuals with autism within the broader community.

Access to Resources: Facilitate easier access to resources such as respite care, financial assistance, specialized therapeutic services, and educational programs. This goal aims to lessen the logistical and financial burdens on caregivers, allowing them to provide better care.

Building a Supportive Network: Develop a network of professionals, other caregivers, and community resources that can offer advice, assistance, and support. This network can serve as a valuable resource for sharing best practices, finding help during emergencies, and creating a sense of community among caregivers.
